and industrial partners, three microscopy workshops:

From Basic to Advanced Microscopy

24th August 2009: Immunolabelling
25th - 27th August 2009: Fluorescence Microscopy
28th August 2009: Quantitative Fluorescence Based Screening

The academic rate for the full week of three workshops is £600 (non-academic
£1200). The fees include lecture printouts, consumables for the
immunolabelling workshop, coffee, lunches and a dinner during the
fluorescence microscopy workshop, sponsored by Olympus UK.

All workshops include hands-on sessions. The equipment confirmed for the
Fluorescence Microscopy workshop:

- Olympus FV1000 confocal laser scanning microscope
- Olympus FV1000 confocal laser scanning microscope with FCS/FLIM
- Olympus FV10i, Olympus new compact confocal laser scanning microscope
- Olympus cell^R imaging systems
- Olympus BX61 automated microscope with Applied Spectral Imaging's
scanning platform
- Nikon A1 confocal laser scanning microscope with TIRF
- Nikon BioStation IM
- Leica TCS SP5 confocal laser scanning microscope
- Agilent Technologies iMIC 2000 microscope system
