Well, I'm not sure about the 510, but on our older (2000) Leica SP2 there
are ports for UV and IR as well as visible lasers. They follow slightly
different light paths through the scan head. I assume you can have all
three, but I imagine you'd need to use different objectives, particularly
when using UV or IR, for optimal results. 2-photon is trickier, I guess.
We recently added a 405 laser to our SP2 - required the service engineers
out for a day to replace optics between 405 laser and objectives, and
calibrate. A very nice addition.
