If possible, I would like to post the attached notice to your confocal
bulletin board:

After many years of successful operation as a shared cytometer resource at
Stanford University, we are closing the facility. We therefore have a
number of things for sale. These include:

        1. Coulter Electronics EPICS V dual laser flow cytometer/cell sorter
        2. Coulter Electronics EASY88 data analysis system
        3. Meridian Instruments ACAS 570 image cytometer

All are for sale "as is". Call for details.
Make an offer.
Buyer responsible for packing and shipment.

EPICS V Flow cytometer manufactured November 1981, includes auto-clone for
sorting into multiwell micro culture plates.

        Lasers
First laser is a Coherent Innova 90-5, purchased 1987.
Argon ion laser with uv line and several visible lines. Currently has ~
2750 hours use. Power supply has separate remote module.

Second laser is a Spectra physics 127-35, 60 mW Helium-neon
laser, purchased 1988. This laser has been turned on a couple of times,
but basically has not been used.

ACAS 570 Image cytometer purchased 1989, with confocal upgrade in 1990, and
"full-field" upgrade in 1991. Coherent Innova 90-5 argon ion laser with uv
and several visible lines.
