I wouldn't recommend Jaz drives either for the same reasons. Also, our
experience was a while ago and that along with other issues made us switch
to CDs (before the availabity of DVD).

I caution anyone contemplating using Jaz drives for anything crucial.
Perhaps
their quality control and reliability is better these days, but I had lots
of
problems with the disks and the drives after switching to them when they
first
came out. I too am interested to hear from those using DVD-RW, or whatever
they're called.
