Biwersi, Tulk and Verkman (Anal. Biochem. 219: 139 (1994)) described
acridinium compounds as long-wavelength chloride indicators.
However, these acridinium compounds are not stable in the
cytoplasma. Does anyone know of _stable_ long-wavelength (i.e. to
be used with a krypton-argon laser) chloride indicators?

Many thanks in advance.

Peter
