Dear colleagues,
We are now beginning to do ratiometric calcium imaging (Indo-1) on a
real-time confocal system (VTeye from VisiTech), connected to an
inverted Nikon Diaphot 200 microscope (160 mm tube length). Since our
Nikon Plan-Apo 60x water immersion lens does not transmit UV (we are
using 350 nm from a Spectra-Physics laser), we are looking for a
corresponding lens (60x or 40x) to do live imaging using UV excitation.
Does anyone ut there know of such a UV-transmittable lens? The working
distance beyond the cover glass (=the bottom of our preparation chamber)
should preferably be around 300 mikrons.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Best regards,
Peter W
