The Cellular Biology Section of the Laboratory of Viral Diseases, NIAID
seeks a Staff Scientist. This is a renewable position with a
five-year term. Candidates will have extensive expertise in histological and
immunocytochemical techniques of live and fixed
specimens, including tissue sectioning, confocal microscopy, video
microscopy, cryoimmuno-electron microscopy, microinjection, and digital
image processing.  The successful candidate will be an integral member of a
team of 12 scientists interested in the interaction of viruses with the
immune system. Candidates must have a Doctoral degree or equivalent and at
least three years of relevant postdoctoral experience. Salary will be highly
