Dear Alice, in LaserSharp, if you put a LUT on a PIC image (or data
set) and export all the images as Tiffs(from file menu|export), the
LUT stays on -does this help atall?

Very frustrating problem.

I am trying to make quick time and MPEG movies from confocal rotational
projections. We have a Bio-rad 1024. I can make these movies just fine
when i merge green and red or green and red and blue channels, i.e., when
color assignments are made as a part of the merge function. But when I
convert the red channel by itself to an avi file and load in a red or
orangey luts, I can't get the LUTS to be saved! Incredibly annoying,
since I HAVE been able to do it once or twice, but can't figure out how I
did it, as I have since tried everything I can think of and can't get the
AVI file to look red!

I have been told that there is something about the format of these
software packages (i.e. lasersharp 2.1A and confocal assistant 4.02) that
makes adding a color like this extremely finnicky. Does anyone know the
secret?
