Does the new SGI have 32-bit addressing/processing (this is probably not
the correct terminology)?  A problem with using large (say 4 GB) hard discs
has always been that you have to partition them or your minimum file size
is way bigger than the "true" file size because with 16-bit processing you
only have 65536 addresses, giving a minimum file size of 64 kB on a 4 GB
disc.
