We would like to use digital cameras that have a IEEE 1394 (akas
Firewire) connector. The IEEE 1394 interface is present in every
current Mac and using this interface would free up a valuable PCI
slot.

We are looking for several types of cameras

- a low end, video type camera with C-mount, mainly for IR on an
electrophysiological rig
In principle, a consumer type video camera would be sufficient as
long as it has reasonable IR sensitivity and a C-mount option.

- a higher resolution, more light sensitive camera for fluorescence
of (slow) EGFP and/or RFP signals
In principle, a consumer type still camera would be sufficient,, as
long as there is a C-mount option

- high sensitivity, cooled CCD, camera for fluorescence of EGFP
and/or RFP signals

Any suggestions are welcome.
Tx
