We are looking at upgrading from our analog video camera system to a
digital camera system. Due to our present configuration we will need to
upgrade our software and filter wheel as well.

Has anyone had experience with the CCD1600 camera sold by ISI (it has a
KAF1600 chip)? We were going to pair it with Image Pro Plus. The camera
has a filter wheel built into it so this would ease the transition a bit.

Another scenario was to get the KX85 (Sony ICX085AL chip)from Apogee and an
external filter wheel that will operate under Image Pro Plus.

Any suggestions or cautionary notes? Assume that we know very little about
digital imaging (other than readout noise seems to be a problem and the
dynamic range can often be bumped up at the expense of noise).

Any other camera filter wheel combination suggestions would be welcome!

We have a limited budget to work with though AND as always time is of the
essence :-)
