Reguarding "binary images" with the MRC-600.
If you are attempting to convert .pic files to a format useable in
other image editing software you may try the utiltiy PIF2TIFF.EXE
which will generate gray scale images or color TIFF files from
merged .pic files from the MRC-600.  These images can be used in
many different imaging editing packages either on the Mac or PC.
I have infact incorporated such images into slide presentation
software for production of 35 mm slides.  Good luck.
