Justin
I agree with those who shared their input on the serv. We routinely save our
lung biopsies in OCT and store at -80. We use "Bitran" bags to store our
samples in order to maintain the integrity of the OCT over a long period of
time. I get very little if any freeze dry affect on the OCT. I have
sectioned the blocks after two years and still get antibody staining. I get
the bags from Com-Pac International their phone number is 800-824-0817 and
they are in Carbondale IL USA but I think some of the bigger companies carry
them. I not only store blocks in these bags, I also use them for storing
slides in the freezer. I don't get any ice crystals from humidity on the
slides. Let me know if you need more details.
