        Dear collegues,
I am working in arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi genetics in
cooperation with Dr. Lafontaine's research group (Laval University, Quebec,
Canada). We are specially interested in the nuclei shape, development and
distribution during the life cycle of these fungi. After trying with
several fluorocromes, we found that DAPI was the most adequate dye for our
purposes. We would like to examine these nuclei through confocal microscope
(), but unfortunately we do not have the U.V. scanning laser to detect the
DAPI emmission fluorescence peak. I would like to know if some
north-american (USA+Canada) laboratory has this u.v. laser, and if it is
possible to get the address.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. I am looking forward to
hear soon from you.
        Best regards,
                                   Berta Bago.
