Hi,
As far as I know there are 3 companies offering automated stages for
microscopy. They probably have automated stages that are more
appropriate for your work also. Stages come in various price ranges.

I know of one company that provides controllers for XYZ stages:
ITK: http://www.itknet.de/
Most of their stages provide XY movement and need to be complemented
with a Z-drive.
In my opinion, it is better to keep the number of different hardware
components in your lab to a minimum. If you already use motorized stages
on your microscopes, use a stage and controller from the same provider,
so you can use similar drivers and software to control the new stage.
Make sure to match the controller to the automated stage, as the power
consumption and some other issues differ between the stages.

Folks, I need a basic motorized xyz stage, this is not for a microscope,
rather for luciferase imaging in a black box. So accuracy can be quite

(ie: in mouse units). However all I can find are optical quality =
devices
which cost lots of $$s, or CNC machining positioners are available too =
but
they are for moving multi kilogram objects and also cost lots of $$s. So

there an inexpensive solution which is able to move a mouse (maybe =

max), in 3 dimensions such that I can focus on the thing remotely and =
