Hi all,
My general question is about how to make the most of the time when you have
the opportunity to demo a confocal. With the rising popularity of the
cheaper, turn-key, personal confocals, there are more opportunities to get
a confocal brought to the lab for a demonstration. Clearly, you should try
to test performance on the particular preparations or experiments you're
buying the system for. On the other hand, some important information is
best obtained through word-of-mouth, like hardware dependability, support,
and so on.
Everyone has different needs, but what are your three favorite things to
measure when you want to see how well a confocal performs?
All the best,
Tom
