 Hi Konstantin,
I have little experience but my colleague suggests:

My best guess would be either try to redesign the measuring chamber to
decrease the z-dimension (even try putting sample on glass cover and
covering it with another glass cover) or try the approach described in DOI:
10.1038/srep25254 .
