I have been away from the portable PC world for about 2 years. The best
vendors from my files are:

1) Dolch (expensive but very good) (408-957-6575)

2) Promark (408-733-0272)

3) Fieldworks (612-947-0856)

4) BitWise Designs (800-367-5906)

5) Modgraph (617-938-4488) - selected one of these a couple years ago over
the rest for my field test purposes and it worked well

6) Kontron Electronik (not sure who US distributor is now, used to be
Promark)

You can also put together your own portable PC using available industrial
chassis and backplanes (plug in CPU board, etc. of choice). Contact me if
you want more info.
