We had the same problem quite some time ago.
First try to reset the z-levels at the microscope. Should be described 
in the manual.
If this does not help you have to reset the microscope box.
First of all switch the microscope on and move the objective to a middle 
z-position somewhere.
At the power supply of the microscope you should find a reset button 
that can be pressed with a pen.
Press that button. After that you will need to reset the z-levels and 
then it should work again.
