The University of Missouri and the campus-wide Molecular
Biology Program have made a strong commitment to establishing
the Molecular Cytology Core Facility. The Molecular Biology
Program currently supports three widely used Core Facilities in
Cell Culture and Immunobiology (generation of monoclonal
antibodies, flow cytometry, tissue culture supplies), Protein Core
(amino acid composition, peptide and protein sequencing, protein
purification, peptide synthesis) and DNA core (sequencing,
sequence analysis, oligonucleotide synthesis). Our goal is to have
the Molecular Cytology Core facility up and running by early 1992.
