according to the local expert
*the short answer is that the quenching referred to is only needed if
*using glutaraldehyde, not fpormaldehyde, so they dont need to do it in
*the first place...it will have no effect as it serves only to reduce
*double bonds of the schiff base, and wont influence the methylene bridges
*that formaldehyde generates.
