We use Mattek glass bottom microwell dishes. basically, they are the
standard plastic petri dishes with a hole drilled in the bottom and a
coverslip glued in. We use them mostly for imaging live cells with phase
contrast with a 60X N.A. 1.4 oil immersion objective on an inverted
microscope. Last week we got fairly high quality Nomarski to work too.
