Leica can provide you easily (even by email) with a new license file. You have
to give them simply the MAC (hardware address) of the new network card. Be sure
that the new network card has drivers for Windows NT.

We did this several times on our Leica TCS NT when we swapped faulty PC's and
faulty network cards.

Although, before you get a new card check if your old one does not already
support fast Ethernet (100MB/s) and simply needs to be reconfigured for fast
Ethernet. A faster card also won't help you if your network infrastructure
(hubs, routers, bridges) does not support fast Ethernet.

Good luck,
Tilmann

- Replace the card and ask Leica to change or replace the respective file on
your system that has the number listed. That should be extremely easy to do if
you know where to look. (And Leica should know, obiously.) If they are really
scared of you using a black copy on another machine, they might want to keep
the old card, but so what.
