Does anyone know of measurements of the Kd for Na+ of any of the Ca2+
indicators? In R.Y. Tsien's paper in Biochemistry, 1980, (19, 2396-2404)
describing BAPTA type chelators, fig 3 shows that 430mM Na has a small
effect on the absorption spectrum of BAPTA compared to 10uM Ca2+ (fig 2).
Has anyone actually measured Kd for Na+ of Ca2+ indicators?
Thanks

Milt Charlton
