Dear Nicholas:

If you are referring to the Dual Nipkow Disk scanner that we sell. You can
use any lens. The pin holes are fixed size (50 um) so the z axis section FHWM
dimension will be determined by the lens in combination with the pin hole
size. Using a 100x 1.3 NA will section at about 1 um thickness, while a 40x
will section at 2.4 um. The only lens that I would avoid would be phase lens.
Please call if you have further questions. We will be showing the system at
NeuroScience #2109 along with high speed ICCD cameras. Those of you attending
are invited to bring a slide for imaging.

Sincerely Yours,
George A. Peeters M.D., M.S.
