One small point to clarify Derek's comments re: service
contract/engineer expenses - we have an "inclusive" service
contract with Zeiss, but still have to pay air fare/hotel on top of this.
Maybe other manufacturers have more generous contracts. I think
the buyer is in a very strong position to negotiate a good post-
warranty service deal.
