Dear Deborah:
Bitplane has developed a dedicated software package to detect,
visualize, and measure dendritic trees in confocal images.
You'll find images and other information on the following site:
http://www.bitplane.com/products/filamenttracer/filamenttracer_product.s
html
You are more than welcome to download ImarisDemo and evaluate the
software. Just go to our home page and click on "Free ImarisDemo".
Besides the software you'll find the 3D image of a Lucifer yellow
injected neuron.
I will be happy to assist with the evaluation.
With best regards,
Marius
