Hello Michal
I'm pretty sure you can now do all the things you could do with
Confocal Assistant with ImageJ - with the advantage of being able to do
a whole lot more. You can certainly open PIC stacks, colour merge them,
and with the help of a range of plug-ins from the ImageJ site, do all
sorts of measurements on them and so on. ImageJ works really well
under Win XP (or on MAC OSX) and it is free!
