Hello Desmond,
Zeiss has a new ccd based fast scanning system which looks very
promising. Our preliminary impression is that it will outperform
spinning disk systems due to more efficient illumination. It's new
though.
The AP DeltaVision RT is an impressive system as well. The
DeltaVision will yield higher contrast images than a Nipkow disk under
most conditions; this can be important where effective imaging of small
intracellular features are concerned.
I have no financial affiliation with either company.
Best Regards,
Karl
