We've adopted Calcium because of its simplicity, good design, and
independence of user's web browsers. too many of the commercial and
freeware applications either require a specific browser or OS. Plus,
Calcium provides flexibility to implement different levels of access
to different instruments. Installation on the Linux server was easy.
Once installed, any further modification is through your browser,
logging in as the calendar administrator. We haven't had to touch
the installed application on the server.
