HBO 103 Bulb In A 100 W/2 Lamp Housing?

Does anyone know for sure if it safe to use the long-life mercury 
bulbs (HBO 103) in a HBO 100 W/2 lamp housing unit (Zeiss)?  I worry 
that the 103 bulb could blow a fuse in the mercury lamp's power 
supply.

It's time for me to order a new supply of bulbs, and I'm of course 
interested in purchasing the longer life kind.
