Dear colleagues,

I am looking for a product in which GFP-transgene zebrafish are immobilized,
but can stay alive for a period of up to 12 hours or more, to perform
time-lapse confocal microscopy.

However, gelatine e.g. is too thick: we have a Zeiss CLSM510 with the
inverted Axiovert 100 microscope and I want to use the 40x objective for
high detailed images. Therefore I should have a product which allows a very
good penetration of the excitation/emission light but at the same time keeps
the zebrafish in place, close to the bottom.

Purpose is to follow up in 4D the growth of inter-somitic bloodvessels at
such a detail that the filopodia of the single endothelial tipcells are
visible. Thanks in advance! Best regards,

Sven Terclavers
