Is this an Axiovert? Does this appear with low intensity images? It
is likely that the Brewster window still in place below the objective
turret and you are seeing some reflections from it. I've not much
experience on the LSM510, but have encountered these reflections with
low intensity images. You might try reduced laser power. The window
is very useful to prevent liquids from reaching sensitive parts in
the scope base if the system is used for live cell imaging.
