Today at the Ironton sewer treatment ponds, Crow Wing County, with a south wind & intermittent rain, there were 2,000 plus swallows, mainly tree, and rough-winged, barn, bank ,. also 50+ Bonaparte's gulls, 2 dozen ring-billed gulls, 1 Caspian tern, 9 duck species including a ruddy duck, 3 spotted sandpipers, 3 greater yellowlegs, 1 water pipit.
