Although spring migration seems to be ahead of schedule, I have very few
new reports since last week's update. SANDHILL CRANES were seen at the
West Skyline Hawk Count on the 4th and 5th, and at least 900 TUNDRA
SWANS were seen on the 4th below the Thompson Hill count site on the St.
Small numbers of EVENING GROSBEAKS have been reported widely across
northeast Minnesota during the past week.
Recent new arrivals in the area include TREE SWALLOW and LAPLAND
