A single American Coot was at the dam (north side, east bank) at 1600 today. Bald eagles continue to work the area; today featured two sub-adults. Red tailed hawks were seen as well as a few common mergansers, but only two goldeneyes. Ring billed gulls were numerous.
Today was the first day I could work the area without a hat. Life is good. :)
