For high speed imagin, you can consider wide field with camera at the cost of axial resolution and higher background.

Dear All,
I heard about this list from a lecture on confocal imaging. We have a leica
Sp5 at the lab, and we've been doing some work on calcium imaging and
time-lapse. But for our new project, we want to pick up the scanning speed
of our confocal microscope, 15s is a bit long for us. Is there anyway to
achieve this goal? Can we do this by simply changing something in settings
or do we have to contact the maker and purchase an add-on?

Thanks,
Jun Li
