To Bass Ponds:  take Hwy 77 south of 62 or 495 to the Old Shakopee Road
exit.  Turn left (east) and go about 3/4 mile.  See brown sign on right and
turn right, bearing left down the hill to the noisy parking place.  Walk
downhill.

On Wednesday, there were no shorebirds on the river mud at the opening near
the beaver den (left side trail).
