Aitkin County, Take Aitkin Cty Rd 1 to the Junction of Cty Rd 1 & 3. Take a
left on
Cty Rd 3 until the Jct of Cty Rds 29, 491st Lane and Cty Rd 3. Take a left
on Cty
Road 3 (approx 1 1/4 miles) and turn north on 405th place. Go north on 405 Place
until the State Fire Warden Sign. This is the home of Stewart and Alice
Packer two
of the nicest people one can ever meet. Park by the garage and walk down the
driveway on the right side of their house. The best time for the Evening
Grosbeaks
is 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. They would like a call the evening before 218-845-2103.
If no answer people can still walk down on the right side of house to view the
birds. Their address for those that want to Google: 49314 405th Place,
Palisade. MN
56469. Also, MANY Common Redpolls etc.

Other Birds Seen on Cty Road 1

Barred Owl
Pine Grossbeaks
Rough Legged Hawks

The Snowy Owl was not seen.

Good Birding,
Butch Ukura
