MSC is searching for a highly motivated Microscopist to assist with the operation of the confocal microscopes as well as perform image analysis and quantification, instrument calibration, and evaluations of new software and hardware; learn new applications and software as needed and assist with software/hardware upgrades and assess user's needs and assist with microscope set-up and operation, image processing, quantitative analysis, and the preparation of figures for publication. Position Requirements:

 Ph.D. in Biology or other related scientific field.
 Familiarity with general light microscopy techniques (such as immunofluorescence, DIC, image capture) and image processing software.
 Extensive experience with 2 photon intravital imaging.
 Extensive experience with confocal microscopy.
 Formal training in microscopy and sample preparation is highly preferred.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
