Have you tested out the performance of the Leica confocal?
How would you rate the quality of the images? They also
advertize that they have the highest light collecting
efficiency of the various confocals. Do you think that this
may be true, and how substantial is the difference?
 
My own previous experience with Leitz/Leica on software
matters was not very pleasant. They don't provide updates,,
the software is closed, vastly overpriced, and usually
well behind the state of the art. Is their confocal
software any better?
