To those who do image processing:
Does anyone know of any software that can take a topographical image,
divide it into triangular facets, and calculate the angle
distribution of the facets of that topography? I would ideally also
like to visualize the angle map of the surface and threshold it to an
angle of my choice (i.e. all facets with angle greater than 5 would
appear black for instance and all those with an angle equal to or
lower than 5 would appear white).
I would also prefer a pc version of such software.
Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.
