I've used this machine to print from Photoshop and from graphics programs
running on a Mac.  You do have to have lots of memory if you want to do
background printing, otherwise you must wait for the machine.  It prints in
so-called photorealistic mode (like a glossy print) in both B/W and color.
It also has money saving "four-color" printing (like an Inkjet) and
"three-color printing (no true black).  I have been reasonably happy with
the quality (esp. for B/W photorealistic) but be aware that it has been
nicknamed "the color FAX" because of its approx 220 dpi resolution!
