Dear Fellow users,

I would like to join the confocal users group. How can I go
at it?
We, at Escola Paulista de Medicina are at present trying o
decide on a new UV machine for multiple users. For
several reasons ($$, local technical assistance, etc.) we
short-listed Leica and BioRad MRC 1000. I had a go at the
Heidelberg Leica UV system and was impressed with their
optical setup, as well as the final quality of the
processed images. My feeling was, however, that the
software for image acquisition and processing is not very
user friendly. I only had experience with the old MRC 500
back in Cambridge, UK. It seems (as BioRad salespersons
waant us to believe) that their software is better than
Leica's. If anyone has a comment on this, please let me
know.
