Has anyone reviewed the merits and demerits of workstations by the
several manufacturers for use in image processing? I see that many of
the higher level programs run on Sun, SGI, DEC, IBM, HP and other
machines, but have no basis to compare them. We are interested in
purchasing a stand alone workstation to process both confocal images
and molecular models.
