Has anyone on the list had experience with Syto 17 from Molecular Probes ?
 
I do not seem to get nuclear staining with mammalian cells.  I incubated 200
micromolar dye at 37 deg C for 30-45 minutes in media and buffer without
Phosphate and the dye appears all in the cytoplasm.
 
Am I missing something in technique ?
