Dear all,

Has anyone tried nonyl acridine
orange to label mitochondria in fixed mammalian cells?
MitoTracker Green (Molecular Probes) when used with aldehyde
fixatives did not work very well due
to additional nonspecific signals from plasma and nuclear membranes.
Could anyone suggest other
mitochondria-specific fluorescent dye that is
aldehyde-fixable and preferably with a green fluorescence emission?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
