Dear fellow confocalists,
One of our users is having a problem with apparent autofluorescence
of eosinophils which have been fixed with paraformaldehyde prior to
FITC-conjugated immunolabelling. Other leukocytes in the preparation are not
showing any fluorescence whatsoever.
Can anyone recommend some alternative fixation protocols which
reduce autofluorescence? Might the problem lie elsewhere than with the fixative?
                Thanks in advance, Roger.
