To all,

I attended last years course and would urge anyone who was thinking about it for this year but just couldn't make up their minds in time, or just found out about it, or who wants to go but thinks 10 days is too much to take advantage of this opportunity and claim one of those 3 spots.

My microscopic and confocal background were definitely "novice" when I attended and even though some of the lecture material was over my head at the time, the notes that were provided give you a chance to catch up. But best of all there were so many "experts" in every conceivable area there who were ALWAYS willing to provide as much individual support as needed. This applied not only to faculty and support staff, but to the enormous variety of expertise the "students" - as well as vendors supplied. It was a wonderful experience and I think no matter what level you go in as you'll come away with more than you expected to.
(Plus all the above, you get to visit Vancouver - the most beautiful city in the world!)
