Dear Confocal Users,
We have very limited finances and are looking at used or refurbished
confocal microscopes so that we can purchase something inexpensively.  I
have two questions:

1. We have been offered an LSM410 demonstration model which sort of is in
the range of our budget.  However we have heard some negative reports about
this system and would appreciate advisers from users of this system. We are
going to several users most of whom will be novices and there is no real
expert amongst us.  So it needs to be user friendly.

2. Do you know of any other offers that may exist around?  The purchase has
to be through a regular company so that our institute will entertain
offers.
